An evolving drone and noise meditation on the afterlives of Milarepa and Avalokiteshvara -- conjuring a world of distorted incantation, hypnotic prayer, and sonic samsaric destruction.
The composition journeys through four distinct movements:
Movement 1: She Who Listens to the Cries of the World (for Éliane Radigue) (14:24)
Movement 2: Guides of the Song Paths (6:20)
Movement 3: Into the Demon's Mouth (4:28)
Movement 4: Milarepa Meets Avalokiteshvara (9:25)
The recording is a self-contained ritual.

April 8th 2024, a date etched in all calendars, a convergence of celestial marvels: the emergence of the new moon, a fragile crescent, seeking its place amidst the tapestry of stars, and the total solar eclipse, a fleeting moment of cosmic unity.
Yet, in the labyrinthine corridors of the human mind, shadows of past preconceptions lingered like ghosts. Tales spun by elders, woven with threads of fear and wonder, painted the eclipse as an omen, a harbinger of change, both ominous and sublime. The sun, a deity in its own right, veiled by the moon's transient embrace, elicited awe and trepidation in equal measure.
Ancient myths whispered secrets of dragons devouring the sun, of celestial battles between light and darkness, of gods wielding the very fabric of existence as their playground. The eclipse, a canvas upon which humanity projected its hopes and fears, stood as a testament to the enduring power of imagination.
As shadows lengthened and anticipation swelled, the world held its breath, awaiting the convergence of sun and moon. In this moment of celestial alignment, past and future collided, the echoes of ancient myths mingling with the hum of technological progress.
And as the moon cast its shadow upon the sun, plunging the world into temporary darkness, a new/old chapter was written in the annals of human understanding. For in the fleeting moments of the eclipse, amidst the whispers of long forgotten myths and the gaze of modern science, humanity stood before the majesty of the universe.
