Οι Zyklons είναι ένα ντουέτο που συγκροτήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 2016 απ’ τον Περσέα Ρίζο (άλτο/τενόρο σαξόφωνο) και τον Αλέξανδρο Μάγκο (keyboard/φωνές/πετάλια/μικροόργανα). Έχουν στο ενεργητικό τους τρεις κυκλοφορίες με live ηχογραφημένο υλικό – ''(still) unknown traditional music'' (2017), ''The Zyklons'' (2018) και ''Live recording 25/03/2019'' (2020) – καθώς και εμφανίσεις εντός και εκτός Αθήνας, συμμετοχές σε φεστιβάλ πειραματικής μουσικής, ηχογραφήσεις σε υπόγεια, διαμερίσματα, δάση κ.α. Τοποθετημένοι στον ευρύτερο χώρο τού ελεύθερου αυτοσχεδιασμού, παραμένουν πιστοί σ' έναν προσωπικό, μουσικό-εξπρεσιονιστικό χαρακτήρα, βασισμένο στον αυθορμητισμό, τη βιωματική έκφραση και τη συνεργασία.

The Zyklons is a duet formed in Athens in 2016 by Perseas Rizos (alto / tenor saxophone) and Alexandros Magos (keyboard / voices / pedals / micro instruments). They have three releases with live recorded material - ''(still) unknown traditional music'' (2017), ''The Zyklons'' (2018) and ''Live recording 25/03/2019'' (2020) - as well as live shows inside and outside Athens, participation in experimental music festivals, recordings in basements, apartments, forests, etc. Placed in the wider space of free improvisation, they remain faithful to a personal, musical-expressionist character, based on spontaneity, experiential expression and collaboration.
